merino angora blend wool yarn

I am offering three skeins of a custom blend yarn that is made of 75% merino wool and 25% angora rabbit fiber. This merino angora blend yarn is very soft and perfect for next to the skin garments. The blend of merino angora yarn is buttery soft and great for knitting and crochet because it combines warmth and lightness with memory and bounce. This merino angora yarn is hand painted to very lovely modulated tones of blue, violet, rose and lilac. Merino wool yarn has always been a favorite with knitters because it is a fine, soft wool and it is even better and softer when you add a touch of angora. Each skein yields about 76 yards or worsted weight yarn.

handpainted Boucle Mohair

I am offering skeins of a light, airy mohair boucle that has been commercially processed, but hand-painted to translucent shades of blues, purples, violets, etc. I call this colorway "Mountain Shadows" boucle mohair. This mohair boucle is perfect for light airy shawls and lacey mohair garments. It is also an excellent choice for weavers, as it is quite strong and has a lovely sheen. It would work well as a warp or weft for a boucle mohair shawl or scarf. I have three of these boucle mohair skeins available in Mountain Shadows colorway. Skeins are approximately 100 yards each, offered at $7 each, plus $3 for shipping.

Currently in the dyepot: Black Mohair Boucle!! Will let you know when it's ready!
